Arthur Arbesser, who founded his eponymous Milan based label in late 2012, has become an LVMH award finalist and the next Creative Director of Italian fashion house Iceberg in less than three years.

Arbesser’s Fall 2015 collection was an intensely emotional affair, where the designer paid homage to his heritage with a modern interpretation of the debutante ball. Arbesser incorporated all that is dear to him, including contemporary art, antique Austrian chairs and a family friend playing Schubert at the grand piano. The collection was uncomplicated but clever, with clean silhouettes in assorted textiles ranging from metallic silvers to navy furs.

Arbesser’s signature shines through his knack for marrying wearable silhouettes with inventive fabrics. The designer’s pieces, which are exclusively ours, are grounded in wearability and function. Arbesser’s clothes, while imaginative and innovative, are never overly fanciful. Come in to the store and covet!

UnknownMaison Martin Margiela SS 1999, Marc Jacobs Resort 2016 via Vogue Runway

For Resort 2016, Marc Jacobs cited a 90s Margiela show as stimulus for his own gleaming taffeta gowns. That collection was Spring 1999, where Margiela outfitted his models in sandwich boards printed with designs and a succession of protracted silk jersey dresses with images of sequin dresses printed on them.

Margiela shows are commonly emotional experiences. Raf Simons credits Margiela’s third show, held in a playground with children taking to the runway to dance alongside the models, as the most seminal influence on his life. While the house may have a new vitality under the direction of John Galliano, its early days revolutionized modern fashion as we know it.

Jennifer Alfano’s jewelry collection is beautiful pieces that have meaning attached to them. It is her love and appreciation for fine jewelry and her search for beautifully-made, sentimental heirloom pieces that led to the creation of these birthstone pendants. Each piece is handcrafted from 18k gold and semiprecious and precious stones in New York City.
